About Us

Newick House is a special school for pupils with a range of needs and learning difficulties, including autism, and speech, language and communication difficulties.
We have been awarded specialist status as a school for Communication and Interaction, although the school is currently designated as a school for pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties.
The school shares a large site in Burgess Hill with Birchwood Grove County Primary School. It is maintained by West Sussex County Council and admits children aged between 4 and 16 years who live in the Mid Sussex area. Most pupils travel to the school by bus or taxi.
