Jane was a parent governor for 4 years before becoming a community governor in 2010. She currently chairs the Staffing Committee. Jane works as a supervisor in a local preschool setting and in her spare time supports the Cuckfield Bonfire Society raising funds for local schools.

Headteacher at Newick House since January 2000, Gill Perry is a Governor of the school.

A chartered engineer and teacher, Chris has had extensive experience of vocational education in the UK and internationally. He has been involved in the work of Newick House and an active member of the Governing Body since 1998 and is currently Chair of Governors.

Louisa is Clerk to the Governors and an experienced PA who has worked in this role at Newick House School since 2006.

Barbara is now a local authority governor at Newick House School with previous experience as a parent governor and as a community governor in mainstream primary schools. Barbara is E-Learning Manager for pupils in Out of School Learning in West Sussex providing education for pupils who are too ill to go to school or who have been too naughty!

Stephanie, a parent governor, is a full time housewife with three children. She has been a member of the governing body since 2009 and is now also on the Temporary Governing Body for the new Mid Sussex Special School, Woodlands Meed.

Previously, Stephanie was the chairperson for the Friends of Newick House raising valuble money for the school. She did this for 4 years.

Carolynne, a parent governor, works as an accountant for a Haywards Heath based Marketing Consultancy. She has been a parent governor since 2006.

Guy is a freelance graphic designer and is also an Elder at Gateway Baptist Church in Burgess Hill and the leader of its Kings Way Congregation which meets in the area adjacent to the school campus. Guy is a Community Governor and has served on the Governing Body since 1996. He is Vice Chair of the Governors and has chaired the Safeguarding and Premises Committee for many years.

Jack spent 40 years in the Insurance industry and has been a Community Governor since 2003. He is currently chairman of the Finance Committee. Jack is actively involved with Rotary and the local church.

Now retired as a Senior Bank Branch Manager, Neil has been an Authority Governor since 1998 concentrating on Finance and Safeguarding. He chaired the Finance Committee for several years.

Now retired as a PA in the commercial world, Norma has been an Authority Governor at Newick House School since 1990 and chaired the Governing Body for many years. She is also a governor at Oakmeeds Community College. Norma is very involved in the local community, especially Burgess Hill Theatre Club, Park Centre Youth Club and Burgess Hill Town Football Club.
